The 2006 Volvo Foundation Environment Prize recognizes three outstanding scientists who have pioneered the scientific understandings of human impacts on the world’s fisheries and, more broadly, on global ocean environments. All three have gone well beyond scientific concepts to address the implications of marine environmental conservation and environmental policies throughout the world.
