20 Years of exploring the way to a sustainable world
This year marks the 20th conferral of the Volvo Environment Prize. The ceremonial program started with a relection on science and policy by the laureate, Dr Susan Solomon, and the former laureate (1991) Professor Paul Crutzen.
This was followed by a panel discussion where the Dr Solomon discussed the role of business, finance politics and science with Ms Maria Wetterstrand, Member of the Swedish Parliament; Professor Jacqueline McGlade, EEA Copenhagen; Mr Leif Johansson, President AB Volvo and Mr Klas Eklund, SEB.
